This is the last day of the Russia trip, I'm sitting at the airport with Zee. Firstly, thank you Lisa for having us on this wonderful learning trip. It was so amazing meeting with great people in this industry. I've always appreciated and many thanks to Shannon organized everything perfectly for us. Actually yesterday we had said goodbye to everyone. It was so hard since we became familiar and very close to each other. And I really hope we can meet with each other someday, no matter in D.C, Indiana or Texas. No measure of time with you guys, I will always keep this memory forever.

After the tour to Winter Palace, our "team" went to Peterhof. The Summer Palace of Peter the Great was built between 1710–1714 in the northeast corner of the Summer Garden that sat on an island formed by the Fontanka riverMoyka river, the Swan Canal and has the railings of its northern perimeter running along the left bank of the Neva river across from the Cabin of Peter the Great and Peter and Paul Fortress and was the first palace built in Saint Petersburg.

From the pictures you can see the golden decoration of fountains and palaces. By the river there were seagulls everywhere. We feed them with leftovers and the cuties all came to us flying around and around. It was really beautiful scene.

The Winter Palace is a palace in the "Six Palace Complex" of the Russian Museum of the Hermitage. It Locates on the Palace Square in St. Petersburg. After the October Revolution, it became part of the St. Petersburg National Hermitage Museum. It is an outstanding example of Russian neo-classical architecture in the middle of the 18th century. The Hermitage Museum, together with the British Museum in London, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, are called the four major museums in the world. I used to grow up in all the museums so it was an honor to finally make the tour. Jane told us before that it will take you half years to see all the exhibitions and it is definitely true. I took many pictures here. One thing I have to mention is that the roof of every room is very different from each other and makes it so much fun to look up.

The more we stayed in St.Petersburg, the more intriguing places we found and visited. Peterhof is one of St. Petersburg's most famous and popular visitor attractions, the palace and park at Peterhof are often referred to as "the Russian Versailles". Versailles was the inspiration for Peter the Great's desire to build an imperial palace in the suburbs of his new city and, after an aborted attempt at Strelna, Peterhof - which means "Peter's Court" in German - became the site for the Tsar's Monplaisir Palace, and then of the original Grand Palace. One of the big advantages of becoming an unique palace is the palace near the sea making the air is so fresh. People can see the other side of St. Petersburg by the coast.

Thanks to the game between Brazil vs Costa Rica, we got the chance to visit the Krestovsky Stadium the first day we were here. It was a totally different experience than in Moscow. Firstly, shuttle bus was easy to find and the signal to the stadium after getting off was very clear. On top of that, the crowd was orderly no matter they were on the shuttle bus or the road to gates. Secondly, it was really efficient for the staffs serving drinks and food outside or in the stadium. It only took 15 minutes to get water and hotdogs during halftime under the circumstance that more than 63,000 people went the game which surprised me. Krestovsky Stadium was open in 2017 and built at a cost of $1.1 billion. It is considered one of the most expensive stadiums ever built, so I would really recommend all to experience this brand new stadium.

Yesterday we went to the International Broadcasting Center of World Cup Russia and it really amazed me. We went to see the production room, master control room, quality control rooms of MD-1 and so on. We learned the broadcasting operation system and how the multilateral cameras work. I used to process bilateral cameras videos and it was real hard works. It was difficult to make the videos and decorate them in more intriguing ways. Maybe some days later after accumulating more experience in sports media territory, things can be easier.

Today we had a lecture from a senior advisor of VISA and I was really impressed by how much they devoted themselves to the WorldCup Russia. I originally thought VISA is kind of dominating in the area, everyone owns a VISA card. So it is really not that necessary to set up transit money areas. Instead, they made so many efforts for audiences' convenience. On top of that, there were free-trip to the World Cup campaign for more than 5,000 fans to win and precious opportunities to go on the court.

Then I went to see the Portugal VS Morocco games, and I saw VISA display area distributing free Alfa Bank Visa card. It is quite unique and memorable. If anyone has the chance, I suggest to get one.

The way downstairs to the metro is so long that I was a little bit afraid and couldn't see the end of it. It is said that the second longest elevator of metros in Asia is in Chongqing, China. So I think maybe the longest is here because many metros are in historical sites that very down the ground like bomb shelters.

After looking into the background, the Lenin Moscow subway system is recognized as the world’s seventh largest subway system according to the operating line length for the global and the fourth busiest metro. On May 15, 1935, the Soviet government for military reasons officially opened the Moscow subway. The underground railroad built for wartime protection that more than 4,000,000 residents can be covered up....
