FIFA Council Member and former President of US Soccer, Sunil Gulati shared with students the challenges involved with FIFA governance considering the socio, economic, and cultural differences between the 2011 member countries. He believes the changes made are a good start but research shows rules with strict penalties are most impactful to changing individual behavior.
Moscow is much more modern, commercial, and beautiful than most of the students expected. It’s come along way since my first visit in 1988!
